How We Started

Adams Chimney Sweep started as a one-person operation in 2009. Founder Adam Boyer recognized that homeowners across central Alberta were underserved — either overpaying national chains or relying on uncertified handymen for safety-critical chimney work.

Today, we're a small, dedicated team of WETT-certified professionals — which means we can carry out and document a WETT inspection, not just sweep a flue. We've never lost our core principle: treat every home like it's our own, explain everything clearly, and never perform unnecessary work.

As a family-owned business, every service call carries our name and reputation. That accountability drives everything we do.

Adam Boyer started Adams Chimney Sweep in 2009 as a one-person operation, after seeing homeowners across central Alberta either overcharged by national chains or handed safety-critical chimney work by uncertified handymen. He still runs the jobs today.
